Listen To The Man
Tim mentions H&M stores. We don't have them in Texas, but my bestest bud, Elyse, took me to one of these stores in Virginia last summer. Oh my. It was a smorgasbord of bargains. I bought an adorable little black dress for about $15. I don't mean to sound like a commercial, but if Tim Gunn endorses a place, you should check it out. Here's a link to their website:

Ummm, Tim, define "bargain shopping." Somehow I don't think we have the same definition.
Notice he never said "I shop for my clothes at Wal-Mart?"
I LERVE Tim!! And he is absolutely right about H&M. They have fantastic, fashionable stuff at very good prices. And Banana Republic may be a lot more expensive than that, but it is still reasonable compared to all those super high end brands that you would think a guy like him would wear, like Armani.
And, I LERVED his comments about comfort not being your guide! I have an adorable friend at work who is the worst dresser - she wears fleece like a freaking blazer. GAH! I just feel like hey, world, I put a little effort into looking decent for you, you can put a little effort into looking decent for me.
GO TIM!!!
Oh, and I finally found my ideal little black dress this past September on wicked markdown at a department store. $25! Wooo! And it fits me like a dream.
