Sinead O'Connor - You Do Something To Me (Red Hot + Blue)

This song has been swirling around in my head all day. It's a sweet old song, given a cool 45 degree turn with Sinead O'Connor's voice. Love it.

Caryl, I usually don't like Sinead O'Connor, but she does have a beautiful voice and did a nice job with the song.

Yeah, I understand, JI. She can be over the top politically. But there was this scene on Northern Exposure (you're seeing how my mind works here! I filed this scene away years ago), where Maggie is washing dishes alone at home and realizes that she cares for Joel. The radio is on, playing this song and she just starts twirling around her kitchen.

It's that moment when you first realize how you feel about a guy, no matter your age, you feel all girlish and giddy and you just want to dance!

I enjoyed the song- Love Sinead's voice. There's a song I really love that she sings with Peter Gabriel called "Blood of Eden". The video is great too. :)

Caryl, Now you got me spinning thinking of the song. She does have a beautiful voice, just don't care for her personally.

I loved "Northern Exposure" what a great show that was; hated to see it end. Kewl B&W video - she has a great voice, I've always liked her music, politics aside.

I'm another fan of Northern Exposure. I wish it would have stayed on longer. You really felt you knew the characters as quirky as they were. Sinead is a little quirky too but she sounds good on this song.
